Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still life with roses and fruits by Hilding Linnqvist was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,887.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hilding Linnqvist achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Fågeltorget i Chinon" in October 2015 with an auction result of SEK 6,500,000.00 (€ 692,854.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still life with roses and fruits von Hilding Linnqvist im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.887,85) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hilding Linnqvist erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Fågeltorget i Chinon" im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 6.500.000,00 (€ 692.854,56).
