Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hieronymus Janssens could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work "Spänna kyrka" changed hands for SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,302.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hieronymus Janssens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures Dancing In An Elegant Interior in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 21,875.00 (€ 26,977.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hieronymus Janssens konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wechselte die Arbeit "Spänna kyrka" für SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.302,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hieronymus Janssens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures Dancing In An Elegant Interior im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.875,00 (€ 26.977,95).
