Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work An Outdoor Banquet by Hieronymus Janssens. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,281.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hieronymus Janssens have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2012 the work Figures Dancing In An Elegant Interior was auctioned for GBP 21,875.00 (€ 26,977.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Outdoor Banquet von Hieronymus Janssens zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.281,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Hieronymus Janssens konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2012 die Arbeit Figures Dancing In An Elegant Interior für GBP 21.875,00 (€ 26.977,95) versteigert.
