Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work A lady sitting at a table with a dog at an open window by Herman van der Mijn. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,540.51), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman van der Mijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tamar in January 2009 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 67,557.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A lady sitting at a table with a dog at an open window von Herman van der Mijn zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.540,51) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman van der Mijn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tamar im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 67.557,01).
