Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Young Woman By A Tempel by Heva Coomans was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Heva Coomans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An offering to the goddess in March 2001 with an auction result of USD 10,575.00 (€ 12,025.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Young Woman By A Tempel von Heva Coomans kam im April 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Heva Coomans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An offering to the goddess im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.575,00 (€ 12.025,24).
