In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work California Coast with Crashing Waves 10 x 14 in. framed 21 x 25 in. by Hernando Gonzallo Villa. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,024.00 (€ 938.76), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hernando Gonzallo Villa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Olympic Games, Los Angeles, California in April 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,132.36).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit California Coast with Crashing Waves 10 x 14 in. framed 21 x 25 in. von Hernando Gonzallo Villa zur Versteigerung kam.
