Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The hillsides must not know it by Hernan Bas was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 8,255,000.00 (€ 966,576.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 6,500,000.00 – 8,500,000.00. Other works by Hernan Bas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November last year the work The Bats and the Barn Bridge was auctioned for HKD 11,250,000.00 (€ 1,396,033.13).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 8.255.000,00 (€ 966.576,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 6.500.000,00 – 8.500.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Hernan Bas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November letzten Jahres die Arbeit The Bats and the Barn Bridge für HKD 11.250.000,00 (€ 1.396.033,13) versteigert.
