In the The Orientalist Sale auction, the work Evening Prayers Outside Jerusalem sold for GBP 75,600.00 (€ 89,565.58) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hermann Corrodi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian the Fountain Of The Sweet Waters Of Asia, On The Bosphorus in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 518,500.00 (€ 611,859.93).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hermann Corrodi erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Orientalist Sale wurde die Arbeit Evening Prayers Outside Jerusalem für GBP 75.600,00 (€ 89.565,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hermann Corrodi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian the Fountain Of The Sweet Waters Of Asia, On The Bosphorus im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 518.500,00 (€ 611.859,93).
