In December 2016 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction December + Asian sale, which included the work Landshut by Herman Posthumus. The result of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,347.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman Posthumus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Extensive mountainous, coastal landscape in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 119,129.61).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2016 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion December + Asian sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landshut von Herman Posthumus zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.347,23) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman Posthumus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Extensive mountainous, coastal landscape im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 119.129,61).
