Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Stormigt hav by Herman af Sillén was sold in the Spring Classic Sale Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2010. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 56,000.00 (€ 5,872.92). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman af Sillén - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Frigates, which sold at auction in December last year for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 23,307.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Stormigt hav von Herman af Sillén wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Spring Classic Sale Stockholm bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 56.000,00 (€ 5.872,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Herman af Sillén mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Frigates beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 23.307,16) versteigert wurde.
