Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work "Manöver utanför Kiel" (Manoeuvre ouside of Kiel) by Herman af Sillén for SEK 105,000.00 (€ 11,438.90). This price was achieved in the auction CLASSIC SALE at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman af Sillén - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Frigates, which sold at auction in December last year for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 23,307.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Manöver utanför Kiel" (Manoeuvre ouside of Kiel) von Herman af Sillén für SEK 105.000,00 (€ 11.438,90) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion CLASSIC SALE bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Herman af Sillén mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Frigates beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 23.307,16) versteigert wurde.
