The work Fishing vessel in rough seas by Herman af Sillén was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2019. The result of SEK 100,000.00 (€ 9,521.28) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman af Sillén - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Frigates, which sold at auction in December last year for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 23,307.16).

Die Arbeit Fishing vessel in rough seas von Herman af Sillén wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 100.000,00 (€ 9.521,28) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Herman af Sillén mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Frigates beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 23.307,16) versteigert wurde.
