Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Horse Head by Herbert Haseltine was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in October last year. The price achieved of USD 11,475.00 (€ 11,551.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herbert Haseltine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Counterpoint With First Flight And Foal in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 193,750.00 (€ 172,513.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Horse Head von Herbert Haseltine kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 11.551,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herbert Haseltine erzielen.
