In the Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures including Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A sunlit interior sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,745.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herbert Davis Richter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Artist'S Home, which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 13,145.00 (€ 18,909.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Herbert Davis Richter erzielte im November 2009 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures including Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit A sunlit interior für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.745,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Herbert Davis Richter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Artist'S Home beobachtet, die im November 2004 für GBP 13.145,00 (€ 18.909,01) versteigert wurde.
