Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Richard Gere' by Herb Ritts was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,721.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herb Ritts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Versace Dress, Back View, El Mirage in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 220,377.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Richard Gere' von Herb Ritts wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.721,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
