A top price for Henry Wright Kerr - as previously expected
In August 2006 Sothebys in London held the auction Gleneagles Pictures, which included the work Winding A Holland by Henry Wright Kerr. The price achieved of GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,390.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Winding A Holland is the most expensive artwork by Henry Wright Kerr that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im August 2006 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Gleneagles Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winding A Holland von Henry Wright Kerr zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.390,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Winding A Holland das teuerste Kunstwerk von Henry Wright Kerr, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
