Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work A change of horses outside the Bear by Henry William Standing. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,054.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Henry William Standing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work Shire horses in a stable was auctioned for GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,726.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A change of horses outside the Bear von Henry William Standing zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.054,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Henry William Standing konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2002 die Arbeit Shire horses in a stable für GBP 1.116,25 (€ 1.726,59) versteigert.
