Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Pictures, which included the work Strassburg, Alsace; Mayence, On The Rhine by Henry Schäfer. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,152.90). Other works by Henry Schäfer have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,888.21) in May 2002 for the work Luys near Morlaix, Britanny; and Eveux, Normandy.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Strassburg, Alsace; Mayence, On The Rhine von Henry Schäfer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.152,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Henry Schäfer haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.888,21) im Mai 2002 für die Arbeit Luys near Morlaix, Britanny; and Eveux, Normandy beobachtet.
