In the British and Continental Watercolours auction, the work Shipping Off The Pier At Lowestoft (Illustrated); A Calm Day At Lowestoft; And The Lighthouse At Southwick sold for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,493.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henry Robertson, A.R.E.; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot An Incomplete Album of Watercolours, The Majority Landscape Subjects Including: Harwich; Shades of Evening; Ipswich; River Orwell; Tonbridge; Hastings; Littlehampton And Others, Some Inscribed And One Dated 1894 sold at auction in July 2006 with the realized price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,810.65).
