Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work Hastings by Henry Robertson, A.R.E.. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 420.00 (€ 614.83). Admittedly, works by Henry Robertson, A.R.E. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Incomplete Album of Watercolours, The Majority Landscape Subjects Including: Harwich; Shades of Evening; Ipswich; River Orwell; Tonbridge; Hastings; Littlehampton And Others, Some Inscribed And One Dated 1894 in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,810.65).

Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hastings von Henry Robertson, A.R.E. zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 420,00 (€ 614,83) einen neuen Besitzer.
