This price was achieved in the auction The Marine Sale at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Henry Redmore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Boats On A Stormy Sea Off Whitby in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,742.81).
