In June 2014 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Art, which included the work A Dutch Barge And A Merchantman Passing In The Channel by Henry Redmore. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,874.18), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Redmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Boats On A Stormy Sea Off Whitby in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,742.81).

Im Juni 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Dutch Barge And A Merchantman Passing In The Channel von Henry Redmore zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.874,18) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Redmore erzielen.
