Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Views on the Mediterranean coast, thought to be Cannes by Henry Pilleau was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2004. The price achieved of GBP 286.80 (€ 405.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 400.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Pilleau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The fort city of Valleta, Malta in September 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,801.02).

Die Arbeit Views on the Mediterranean coast, thought to be Cannes von Henry Pilleau kam im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 286,80 (€ 405,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden.
