Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Figure on Horseback Near an Open Window; and four other works by other hands of other mediums, subjects and sizes by Henri Ottmann for USD 600.00 (€ 469.01). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Ottmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel. in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,163.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figure on Horseback Near an Open Window; and four other works by other hands of other mediums, subjects and sizes von Henri Ottmann für USD 600,00 (€ 469,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Ottmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gare Du Luxembourg, Gel. im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.163,37).
