In the The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists auction, the work The village of Bourne End, Buckinghamshire sold for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,086.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Martin Pope - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A traveller before a ruined castle, which sold at auction in January 2007 for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,172.63).
