Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work La toilette by Henry Lerolle. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,816.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Lerolle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work À L'Orgue in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 54,628.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La toilette von Henry Lerolle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.816,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Lerolle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit À L'Orgue im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 54.628,09).
