Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with thistles by Henry Korda for GBP 375.00 (€ 447.76). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Korda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mo and Me swimming in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,001.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with thistles von Henry Korda für GBP 375,00 (€ 447,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Korda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mo and Me swimming im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.001,91).
