The work Three Views of Springside by Henry Gritten was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2009. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,525.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Three Views of Springside is the most expensive artwork by Henry Gritten that we have observed at auctions so far.
