In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A horse and cart on a path; and A shepherd with his flock by Henry Brittan Willis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,407.08), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Brittan Willis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ploughman'S Team in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,246.57).

Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A horse and cart on a path; and A shepherd with his flock von Henry Brittan Willis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.407,08) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Brittan Willis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ploughman'S Team im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.246,57).
