Auction result well in line with expectations

The work The Mountain Spring by Henry Bright was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,240.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henry Bright have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scene In The Scottish Highlands, Afternoon Effect in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,518.46).
