In January 2007 Christies in London held the auction The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists, which included the work On the Yare by Henry Bright. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 900.00 (€ 1,357.89), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Bright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scene In The Scottish Highlands, Afternoon Effect in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,518.46).

Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the Yare von Henry Bright zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.357,89) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Bright erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scene In The Scottish Highlands, Afternoon Effect im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.518,46).
