Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2000 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Australian red-tailed black cockatoo by Henry Bright. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 690.00 (€ 1,129.13), 15% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Bright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scene In The Scottish Highlands, Afternoon Effect in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,518.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian red-tailed black cockatoo von Henry Bright zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 690,00 (€ 1.129,13) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Bright erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scene In The Scottish Highlands, Afternoon Effect im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.518,46).
