The work Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives; and The Dome on the Rock by Henry Andrew Harper was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in February 2012. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,537.31), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Henry Andrew Harper have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,049.36) in May 2012 for the work Arabs before Baalbek, the Lebanon.
