The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,537.31), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Henry Andrew Harper have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,049.36) in May 2012 for the work Arabs before Baalbek, the Lebanon.
