In May 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work Pink roses and forget-me-nots with a bird's nest on a forest floor by Henriette Gertrude Knip. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henriette Gertrude Knip achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch A Still Life With Flowers And Fruit On A Forest Ground in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 50,650.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pink roses and forget-me-nots with a bird's nest on a forest floor von Henriette Gertrude Knip zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henriette Gertrude Knip erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch A Still Life With Flowers And Fruit On A Forest Ground im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.650,00.
