It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,760.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The toast is the most expensive artwork by Henricus Engelbertus Reijntjens that we have observed at auctions so far.
