It achieved a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,969.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Schäfer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Luys near Morlaix, Britanny; and Eveux, Normandy, which sold at auction in May 2002 for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,888.21).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.969,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Schäfer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Luys near Morlaix, Britanny; and Eveux, Normandy beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.888,21) versteigert wurde.
