A top price for Henri Privat-Livemont - as previously expected
The work Absinthe Robette, 1896 by Henri Privat-Livemont was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Absinthe Robette, 1896 is the most expensive artwork by Henri Privat-Livemont that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Absinthe Robette, 1896 von Henri Privat-Livemont kam im Juni 2011 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Absinthe Robette, 1896 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Henri Privat-Livemont, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
