Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri Pierre Picou could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Pictures auction, the work La Fuite changed hands for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,641.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Pierre Picou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Birth of Venus in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 76,799.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Pierre Picou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Birth of Venus im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 76.799,88).
