Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Oiseau De Bois, 1946 by Henri Nouveau. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,188.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Nouveau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Improvisation, which sold at auction in April 2006 for EUR 10,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oiseau De Bois, 1946 von Henri Nouveau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.188,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Henri Nouveau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Improvisation beobachtet, die im April 2006 für EUR 10.200,00 versteigert wurde.
