Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Profile Portrait Of A Lady, Head And Shoulders by Henri-Nicolas van Gorp for USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,815.89). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and 19th Century European Paintings and Drawings, including Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house.
