Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Alan and Simone Hartman CollectionThe Inaugural Sale, which included the work Soleils by Henri Manguin. The price achieved of USD 38,400.00 (€ 34,713.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Manguin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Oliviers À Cavalière in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,032,779.52).
