Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work German la Jeune Italienne by Henri Lehmann was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,843.58). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Lehmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Lai D'Aristote, which sold at auction in March 2014 for EUR 125,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit German la Jeune Italienne von Henri Lehmann wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 43.843,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Henri Lehmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Lai D'Aristote beobachtet, die im März 2014 für EUR 125.800,00 versteigert wurde.
