Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri Lebasque could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work La Diseuse de bonne aventure, Sainte-Maxime changed hands for USD 102,100.00 (€ 93,601.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Lebasque have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,022,500.00 (€ 711,254.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri Lebasque konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit La Diseuse de bonne aventure, Sainte-Maxime für USD 102.100,00 (€ 93.601,03) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Lebasque auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.022.500,00 (€ 711.254,87).
