Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Student Farandole by Henri-Jules-Jean Geoffroy for EUR 2,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri-Jules-Jean Geoffroy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French La Joie Des Petits in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,622.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Student Farandole von Henri-Jules-Jean Geoffroy für EUR 2.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri-Jules-Jean Geoffroy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French La Joie Des Petits im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.622,96).
