In the Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Still Life With Plums, Almonds And Raisins changed hands for USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,364.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri-Horace Roland de la Porte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A brioche, two pastries, two covered jars and a glass of red wine on a stone ledge in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 59,774.70).
