In June 2007 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, including Spanish and Orientalist Art, which included the work Arab horsemen fording a stream by Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,053.31), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portraits Présumés Du Chérif Boubaghla Et De Lalla Fatma N'Soumer Conduisant L'Armée Révolutionnaire in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 325,500.00.

Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art, including Spanish and Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arab horsemen fording a stream von Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.053,31) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portraits Présumés Du Chérif Boubaghla Et De Lalla Fatma N'Soumer Conduisant L'Armée Révolutionnaire im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 325.500,00.
