A top price for Henri Chen Kezhan - as previously expected
In June 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho, which included the work Spring Roses by Henri Chen Kezhan. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,201.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Spring Roses is the most expensive artwork by Henri Chen Kezhan that we have observed at auctions so far.
