In June 2017 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The former Kamerbeek Collection, which included the work Rood paard met zwarte ruiter by Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 27,500.00 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 45,600.00 in December 2006 for the work Vrouweneiland XXII (Martinet Hot Printing 42-80).

Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rood paard met zwarte ruiter von Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 27.500,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00 im Dezember 2006 für die Arbeit Vrouweneiland XXII (Martinet Hot Printing 42-80) beobachtet.
