This artwork by Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013. In the The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection auction, the work Hot Printing 12 (Compositie) sold for EUR 4,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vrouweneiland XXII (Martinet Hot Printing 42-80) in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman erzielte im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection wurde die Arbeit Hot Printing 12 (Compositie) für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vrouweneiland XXII (Martinet Hot Printing 42-80) im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
