Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch Koppenserie 15 by Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in July 2009. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vrouweneiland XXII (Martinet Hot Printing 42-80), which sold at auction in December 2006 for EUR 45,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch Koppenserie 15 von Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman kam im Juli 2009 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vrouweneiland XXII (Martinet Hot Printing 42-80) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für EUR 45.600,00 versteigert wurde.
